Danica (Dana) Ann Uherka- Abels, 42, of Brandon, daughter of Norman and Deb (Miller) Uherka was born on March 11, 1980 at the Tyndall hospital. She passed away late afternoon on November 29, 2022 of respiratory failure at her home in Brandon.

Autumn Dion, 59, of Wagner, died Sunday, November 13, 2022 in Sioux Falls. Services were held Thursday, November 17 at the White Swan Community Center in Lake Andes. Burial was in the Native American Church Cemetery, rural Wagner. Peters Funeral Home in Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Karen Wunder, 82, of Wagner were held Saturday, November 26 at Peters Funeral Home. Burial was in the Delmont Cemetery. Karen E. Wunder was born in Fargo, ND on September 17, 1940 to Kenneth and Rosemary (Chamberlin) Sadler.

Micah Derrick Spaulding, MSN, APRN joined his eternal family on October 13, 2022. Born June 2, 1961 in Danville, KY, he was the second child of Rev. James Edwin SpauldingandBarbaraJean Bogie Spaulding, both of Hustonville, KY. Micah was fortunate to have grown up in many wonderful places.

Jaroslav Duane “Sonny” Pavlis, 92, of Lake Andes passed peacefully, surrounded by family on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the Wagner Community Memorial Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, November 21 with visitation at Koehn Bros. Funeral Chapel in Geddes.

Wayne F. Brooks, 92, went to his heavenly home Tuesday, November 15 at Walnut Village Assisted Living in Yankton. Funeral mass was held Saturday, November 19 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church in Lake Andes. Arrangements by Koehn Bros. Funeral Home in Lake Andes.

Funeral services for Mara Beckwith, 82, will be held Wednesday, November 23 at 2 p.m., at the Wagner Community Church. Burial is in the ZCBJ Cemetery, rural Wagner. A Celebration of Mara’s Life visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m., with sharing of memories at 5:30 p.m.

Memorial services for De-Lores ‘Dee’ Ida Rose Youngbluth will be held Saturday, November 19 at 10:00 a.m., at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Hot Springs. Services will be videotaped and will be viewable on her obituary, after the service.
