Ronny Lee Leasure, 77, of Avon died Monday, October 2, 2023 at his home in Avon. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 7 at Zion Lutheran Church in Avon with burial at the Lakeview Cemetery in Lake Andes. Peters Funeral Home of Avon was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral Mass for Leo Soukup, 84, of Wagner was held Tuesday, October 10 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Wagner. Burial was in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements.

A celebration of life for Elouise J. Fisher, age 9 days, was held Friday, October 6, at the United Church of Christ in Yankton. Burial followed at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Yankton. Opsahl-Kostel Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory was entrusted with arrangements.

Gary Wayne Nelsen, age 70, of Conifer, Colorado, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 25, 2023. Gary was born in Pickstown on December 5, 1952, the son of Lavon and Wayne Nelsen of Lake Andes. He graduated from Andes Central High School.

Donna Greger, age 72 of Belle Fourche, died peacefully on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 at the Belle Estate in Belle Fourche, as a result of Lewy Body Dementia. The funeral service was held Tuesday, October 10 at the Christian Life Center in Belle Fourche.

Funeral services for James Nagel, 82, of Avon were held Monday, October 2 at the Emmanuel Reformed Church in Springfield. Burial was in the Emmanuel Reformed Cemetery in rural Springfield. Peters Funeral Home in Springfield was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for Carol Lavonne Huddleson Irwin, 87, of Corsica, were held Thursday, September 14 at The Lighthouse Church in Wagner. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements. Carol was born July 19, 1936 in Armour, the daughter of Robert and Maude (Allen) Huddleson.

Funeral services for Robert Eddy, 64, of Wagner, were Tuesday, September 19, at the Greenwood Community Center in Greenwood. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner was in charge of arrangements. Robert was born in St. Louis, IL to Elmo and Jeannette Eddy.

Funeral services for Basil Heth, Jr., 76, of Wagner were held Friday, September 22 at the Marty Community Center in Marty. Burial was in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery in rural Greenwood, with military honors. Peters Funeral Home of Wagner were in charge of arrangements.
