Marty Indian School presents 'Hercules!'

Students at Marty Indian School did an outstanding job presenting 'Hercules!' on Friday, November 8th under the directorship of Missoula Children's Theatre, who strives to spark children's creativity and imagination through theatre participation.

A PRAYER FOR OUR NATION

For those of you who read my weekly columns, you know that they can take on many forms. They’re often focused on updating you on changing policies or issues that I am focused on.

STATE XC QUALIFIERS

This year AHS had four Cross Country state qualifiers: Zander Fathke, Rance Kuhlman, Jack Fathke, and senior John Fathke. They prepared for the competition by getting a lot of sleep, letting loose, stretching, drinking a lot of water, eating good meals, and most importantly, practicing.

ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Al ‘Shamon Gunter is a junior middle linebacker and a tight end on the Pirate football team. Al’Shamon has been playing football for many years. On game day, he mentally and physically prepares by stretching and listening to music. His hype-up song is Big Dawgs by Humankind.

CREATIVE ENGLISH FIELD TRIP

The Creative English class started their Monday very early this past week, leaving the parking lot at 5:15 a.m. This group of kids, chaperoned by Voni Hubbell, their Creative English teacher, took a van to the SDSU College Campus in Brookings, South Dakota, for the 2024 Highschool Press Convention.

KAELI WALLINGA

Kaeli Gabrielle Wallinga was born on June 5th, 2007. She is the daughter of Danielle and Mel Wallinga and the sister of Caleb Wallinga. Some hobbies Kaeli enjoys are reading, talking, and playing sports.
