High School Athletic Awards were presented.

The Andes Central School Board voted to approve a $400,000 general fund opt-out for ten (10) years. The first question most may ask is “why is an opt-out necessary?” And, the second question may be, “how will this affect my taxes?” Why is an opt-out necessary?

The race of Charles Mix County Commissioner for District 2 between incumbent Neil Von Eschen and challenger Colin Soukup brings a new face to the board as Soukup took the win with 139 votes to Von Eschen's 94.

The American Legion Greer Post #11 awarded $500.00 scholarships to four Wagner Community School seniors. Winners of the 2020 American Legion scholarships are pictured below. The scholarships were presented at the graduation exercises.
