WINTER SPORTS FACE VIRUS-RELATED RULE CHANGES

PIERRE — Figuring out how to allow athletes to compete in a close contact sport, like wrestling, during a pandemic was just one of the challenges faced by the South Dakota High School Activities Association board of directors at its meeting Wednesday, Nov. 4.

FSA COMMITTEE ELECTION IN PROCESS

Lake Andes— The Charles Mix County Farm Service Agency (FSA) County Committee Election is being held this year in Local Administrative Area #1. This area includes Bryan, Choteau Creek, Kennedy, Lawrence, Lone Tree, Ree and Rouse Townships. The nominee for this election is Donald Krcil.

TRICARE OPEN ENROLLMENT

As required by law, TRICARE is introducing enrollment fees for Group A retired beneficiaries enrolled in TRICARE Select coverage. Group A means you or your sponsor enlisted or were commissioned before January 1, 2018.

LOCAL ORAL INTERP STUDENTS ADVANCE TO REGION CONTEST

Wagner Oral Interp held their annual local oral interp meet on Monday, November 2nd. It was wonderful to have these students finally experience a real audience. The anticipation of this meet was great and a very welcome one at that. The students all performed very well.
