After locking their doors March 2, 2020 to eliminate the spread of Coronavirus and offering options to pick up at the window or delivery, Inside Scoop will be open to dine in customers effective Monday, January 11 with limited seating as they will be following a protocol.

GRIND HOUSE 46 TO OPEN IN FEBRUARY

After prayer for direction and things falling into place, Kip and Amelia Spotted Eagle will be opening Grind House 46 in February. Kip spent time in Spokane during high school and in the summers enjoyed coming home and spending time with his grandparents.

AIREANNA SANTOS NAMED TO FALL PRESIDENT’S LIST

Aireanna Santos of Avon has been named to the Lake Area Technical College President’s List for the 2020 Fall semester. Students earning this recognition must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher in seeking a degree for the term. Aireanna is majoring in the Dental Assisting Program.

Library news

The library appreciates the individual from our community who donated money to pay for those people who have lost materials from the library, and thus didn’t have use of the computers in the library.

FLOYD FARRAND DUALS

Continued improvement for the Wagner Raider this week at the Floyd Farrand Duals. The normal individual tournament format was changed to four quadrangular duals to allow spectators to socially distance.

HEALTHCARE HEROES RECOGNIZED AT WCMH-AVERA

Last week the Wagner preschoolers dropped off a very well deserved sign that they made with their handprints and homemade cards. We also received blankets which were a wonderful gift from Farm Bureau, made by Sarah Veenstra(District 7 Women’s Committee Director) of New Holland, SD.
