LIBRARY NEWS

President’s Day will be celebrated on Monday, February 16th. The library has several books (biographies) of many of the U.S Presidents. If there is a President that interests you and we do not have a book on them we may be able to borrow that book from other libraries in the state.

Some of South Dakotans' greatest needs for resources in 2025 surrounded housing, food and utilities, according to the Helpline Center's 211 data from around the state. The 211 line connects callers with community services statewide.

Yes. Though rules differ, several South Dakota reservations allow hunting on tribal lands. The Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, located in north-central South Dakota and parts of North Dakota, allows hunting on its 1.6 million acres.
