This week we passed the deadline for the introduction of bills. 325 House bills and 245 Senate bills were introduced. We have our work cut out. All bills will have a hearing with action taken. This isn’t the case on the federal level.

Yes. South Dakota Secretary of State’s Office has shared the state’s voter rolls with the U.S. Department of Justice. President Trump ordered the DOJ to collect voter rolls from all 50 states, saying the move is aimed at preventing illegal voting.

BUZZ-WORTHY SPELLING SUCCESS

Local students put their spelling skills to the test recently during the annual school spelling bee, with participants competing by grade level for top honors. In first grade, Teagan earned first place, followed by Cheyenne in second and Dominic in third.
