Wagner Hospital Auxiliary Meeting

The Wagner Hospital Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on March 24 at 1:30 p.m. with six members present. President Pearl W called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary Prayer. Minutes from the last meeting on February 26, 2020 were read and approved.

Greer Post #11 American Legion

Greer Post #11 American Legion held its monthly meeting on March 18 at the Post Home. Commander Robert Kucera called the members to attention. Acting Chaplain Mark Wiechmann gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

PIERRE, S.D. - Text-to-9-1-1 is now available throughout South Dakota. Wireless cell phone customers in South Dakota can text to 9-1-1 when they can’t callin an emergency. The text, like a phone call, will be routed to a local 9-1-1 dispatch center.

Recently I saw a patient who had experienced two consecutive days of pain in his right upper abdomen. I questioned him, looking for clues of gallstones, liver mass, or maybe an ulcer in the small bowel, but his answers did not fit my expectations.

Reta Ridgway enjoyed a week visiting in the home of her daughter, Carla and Matt VandeBossche of Lusk, Wyoming. Jon and Lynn Stather were in Sioux Falls last Friday where they had lunch with her sister, Diane Ewing of Sioux Falls and with her niece, Haley Rogers of Brookings.
