SENIOR SPOTLIGHT
Senior Allyson Janae Hamilton, daughter of Reno (Jade) Hamilton and Jane (Brad) Elle and sister to Taylor, Ella, and Rykr Hamilton and Bradyn and Skylar Elle, was born on January 24, 2003.
Ally enjoys hanging out with her friends and her boyfriend. In her spare time, she enjoys watching him play sports year round. Along with watching her boyfriend play sports, one of Ally’s favorite high school activities is attending Avon sporting events. Her hobbies include cheer and swim team. Being skilled with computers, she also enjoys any computer classes that Mr. Poppe teaches.
A memory that will stick with Ally after her time at Avon High School is going to State B Basketball. Looking back at this school in later years, Ally will remember making good memories with her friends the most.
Jane Elle, Ally’s mother, is her role model because through all of Ally’s highs and lows Jane encourages her to keep on pushing through her obstacles. Ally’s best advice to the underclassmen would be to just have fun and not worry about the little things. An inspirational quote that Ally lives by is, “The struggle you’re in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow.” One of Ally’s proudest moments in life thus far is surviving tumor removal surgery.
Although Ally wishes she would have studied for tests more during her high school years, she feels high school has prepared her for life outside of AHS by teaching her how to be organized and how to study and prepare for tests. Making sure she has things done ahead of time was the most challenging task that Ally faced as a senior. AHS has prepared her for her future in which she will attend Dakota Wesleyan University for nursing.
