NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK 2021: WELCOME TO YOUR LIBRARY

National Library Week (April 4-10, 2021) is being celebrated with the theme “Welcome to Your Library.” The theme promotes the idea that everyone is welcome to use the services that are provided by their state and local libraries.

A volunteer Board Of Trustees who promotes and encourages library use serves the Wagner Public Library. Currently serving on the Board are President, Jan Twitero, Vice President, Sue Larson, Treasurer, Brad Roth, City Council Representative, Rich Dufur, and Trustees, Fran Podzimek, and Marlaine Doidge.

The Board also supports library staff in their efforts to adapt and expand resources that meet the changing needs of library patrons. Upgrades underway at the library will make it possible for patrons to visit the library virtually as well as in person.

Everyone is reminded that we have purchased membership in the South Dakota Titles To Go (SDTTG) consortium operated by OverDrive. This membership allows patrons to load virtual material on their own Internet connected devices at no cost. Please stop in and see us for more information and start enjoying some of the over 20,000 items available by virtual library.

Through out Library week we will excuse fines on overdue material. Items can be returned during regular hours or in the Eagle book/flag drop on the west side of the building.

We will also be offering a big selection of free and sales books during our regular hours. We are open Monday through Friday from9:00 am to 5:00pm. Please use the east entrance to the library.

Take time to connect with your local library during National Library week. Everyone is Welcome to come and see what we have to offer.
