SOME TURKEY TALK

I received my Spring 2021 turkey tag for Charles Mix County, and Saturday morning will find me in a blind on the river bottom south of Wagner with friend and former student Chuck Zacharias. What will make this hunt novel will be the shotgun I’m toting.

FARM, HOME, GARDEN & SPORTS SHOW WELL ATTENDED

Wagner Chamber Farm, Home, Garden & Sports Show was held Thursday, March 25 at the Wagner National Guard Armory, providing something for everyone with over 60 exhibitor booths. The Boys & Girls Club also held an ice cream social which was enjoyed by many in the afternoon. Photos by Barb Pechous

IMAGINE ART AT WAGNER LAKE

Imagine a family is traveling through the area and just happens to stop at Wagner Lake for a short break. They get out of the car to stretch and also happen to notice something that catches their attention on the hillside on the north side of the lake.

CREATE UNITY AND BUILD COMMUNITY

The 605 Unity J.A.M. will be held in Wagner on Sunday, June 13 at the Wagner Lake. The event is being organized by several caring people within our community that want to help bring our community together to in a positive way.

COHEN JAMES WINCE

Cohen James Wince was born March 13th at 5:25 a.m. in Mitchell to Tanner and Talia Wince of Wagner. He weighed 8 pounds 6.1 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long. He has two proud big brothers, Easton and Ryder. Grandparents are: Chad and Lisa Peters and Duane and Bonnie Wince.

ROTARY NEWS

President Bryan Slaba called the Wagner Rotary Club to order on Wednesday, March 31st. Pastor Bill Heermann offered up a prayer of thanksgiving for the food and fellowship and for guidance in making wise decisions about caring for our Wagner Community. The group recited the Pledge of Allegiance.

EASTER EGG HUNT HELD

Wagner Chamber of Commerce held their annual Easter Egg Hunt on a beautiful Saturday morning at Wagner Lake for a large group of anxious children. Several children took the opportunity to pose for a photo with the Easter bunnies after the big hunt. Photos by Barb Pechous
