The Tri-County Right To Life Group met at the Dakota Christian School at 7:00 p.m. on February 28. There were six members present.
South Dakota has lost many of the roadside attractions that once entertained travelers from afar. Perhaps competition from video games, corporate theme parks, cruise ships and urban tourism is to blame.
The following students graduated after the summer and fall 2021 semesters at South Dakota State University. The students listed below completed all requirements for a degree and/or certificate program and those requirements have been verified by the appropriate college.
Pictured are a few of the new purchases for the library. Funding to purchase came from the South Dakota State Library ARP Grant. These new selections are ready for check out.
Arthur Breen putting the paper together back when he owned it. Arthur purchased the Lake Andes Wave in 1946. He died in 1960 and the paper was left to his wife, Nita, to maintain the publication. Mrs. Breen sold the Wave to Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Tippens in 1961. Submitted photos.
President Bryan Slaba welcomed the Wagner Rotarians to their weekly meeting with a loud ringing of the bell. Rotarian Laurie Kidd began a prayer by asking for a moment of silence for the country of Ukraine. Laurie asked for March birthdays which turned out to be Jamie Soukup and Craig Krsnak.
