BARGAIN SHOPPE DONATIONS

By

In February the Bargain Shoppe donated $800 to the Bon Homme After Prom Party and $500 to the Scotland and Avon After Prom Parties.

In March the Bargain Shoppe gave $8,000 to the Tyndall Fire Department and $7,000 each to the Avon, Springfield, Scotland and Tabor Fire Departments to use on equipment and training.

We will be celebrating our 15th year of business in November and to date we have given away $494,465. On Saturday, March 5th our winter clothing and shoes were free to the public. After closing we took the remaining clothing down and put all new spring and summer out. The switch out of clothing entailed 88 volunteer hours. The Bargain Shoppe, located on Main Street in Tyndall, is run by an all volunteer group working hard to make a difference in Bon Homme County. The Shoppe accepts CLEAN donations of gently used clothing, decor, household items and non upholstered furniture during business hours. The Shoppe is open Wednesday 10:00-4:00, Thursday 3:00-6:00 and the 2nd Saturday of the month except this month we will not be open the 2nd Saturday as we were open the first Saturday instead. For more information follow us on face book at "The Bargain Shoppe of Tyndall, South Dakota.
