Like I mentioned before, my return to my hometown has been a good experience, thus far. I’ve been connecting with people I’ve known for as long as I can remember, and others that I didn’t know before, but am enjoying getting to know now.
Couple of activities coming up at the library.
We will be doing a Spring activity for our young patrons. There are many activities to complete and when the punch card they receive is filled with punches their name will be put in a drawing for a grand prize.
Andes Central Elementary School hosted a Family Reading Night on Tuesday, March 15. Almost 50 Andes Central Elementary students came with family and friends to read books and play reading games. Each student chose a free book to take home as well. Courtesy photos
More than 50 municipal officials representing 11 cities gathered at the South Dakota Municipal League’s annual District 4 Meeting, held in Plankinton on March 24, 2022.
The Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on March 23 with eight members present. President Pearl W. called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary prayer.
Minutes of the January meeting were read and approved.
Kathryn Doom was one of approximately 100 high school students from across South Dakota to have an opportunity for a firsthand look at the legislative process by serving as a page for the 2022 South Dakota Legislature.
American Legion District Eight Spring meeting was held March 20th in Marian. Legionnaires attending were Clayton Rados, Robert Kucera, Greg Geiman, Merle Stone, Jay Youngbluth, Dave Isebrands and Donald Kotab.
