Couple of activities coming up at the library.

We will be doing a Spring activity for our young patrons. There are many activities to complete and when the punch card they receive is filled with punches their name will be put in a drawing for a grand prize. Smaller amounts of punches will also earn smaller prizes. Watch for posters at the elementary school, on the library facebook page, or posters at the library.

April is National Poetry Month. The library plans to celebrate by offering the following activities each week. Open to all ages.

Week # 1 April 1st -April 8th Write your own original poem about any topic of interest you and bring to the library. A sweet treat will be awarded to each poetry entry.

Week # 2 April 9th-April 15th Pick out your favorite color and write a poem about it. Bring your poem to the library. A sweet treat will be awarded to each poetry entry.

Week # 3 April 16th – April 22nd Check out a book of poetry from the library. Each checkout earns you a sweet treat.

Week # 4 April 23rd – April 30th Chose a poem and draw an illustration to tell the message of the poem. Bring the poem and your picture to the library and receive a small treat for your entry.
