The Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera Auxiliary held their monthly meeting on March 23 with eight members present. President Pearl W. called the meeting to order and members read the Auxiliary prayer.

Minutes of the January meeting were read and approved. Treasurer's report was given and approved. There was no card report given.

CEO Bryan Slaba met with the auxiliary members and gave a short report on the portable (hand held) ultra sound to be purchased for hospital/clinic. Juanita S. made motion that our donation from the quilt raffle be used toward the purchase of the portable ultra sound. Motion was seconded by JoAnn H., motion carried. President Pearl W. presented a check to Mr. Slaba for our donation amount.

Yelle Turner handed out invitations to auxiliary members for the Spring Tea to be held on April 27 at 1 p.m. in the hospital conference room. The theme for this years tea is "Bingo Party." All auxiliary members are invited to this event. Please RSVP to Yelle Turner at 384-7232 by April 22.

Marlene S. reported the next blood drive sponsored by the Auxiliary and Wagner Fire Dept. will be held on May 23 at the Fire Station.

The auxiliary will be selling raffle tickets for quilt at the Farm, Home and Garden Show on April 7 at the Armory. The schedule for workers is as followers: 10 a.m. to 12 Noon - Pearl W. and Jeanette D.; 12 Noon to 2 p.m. - Jeanette F. and Yelle T.; 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. - JoAnn H. and JoAnn W.; and 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Pearl W. and Jeanette D.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. Refreshments were served by Juanita S.
