On June 7th and 8th the Avon Senior Choir and Band members ventured to Omaha for their music trip. They enjoyed outdoor dining and shopping at the Old Market, Westroads Mall, attended the musical Anastasia, stayed at a new contemporary hotel where they played pool, arcade games, and dice games.
For the past few months, I’ve been fielding questions about the baby formula crisis. Make no mistake, the shortage of baby formula is indeed a crisis.

The YST Law enforcement auxiliary gym in Lake Andes came alive during this past week of June 6-10 with the dancing feet of tiny tots and older youth under the enthusiastic teaching of Jackie Bird.
Chris Rezac is a South Dakota native who grew up in Dante. Even though he lives on the east coast and loves sea kayaking, in July he’ll return to his roots.
Rezac and his wife, Laura, are signed up for the July 9 Fort to Field Paddle Battle on the Missouri River.
