SD NATIONAL GUARD PROMOTES YOST TO COLONEL

RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota Army National Guard promoted Martin Yost, of Sturgis, to the rank of colonel during a ceremony at the Sioux Falls Armory, May 14. With the promotion also comes a new duty assignment as the director of logistics for Joint Force Headquarters in Rapid City.

Come for reminiscing, sharing of memorabilia, good food and fellowship on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Springfield Community Center. The noon meal will be a potluck with meat and drinks provided. Please bring a main dish or dessert to share.

Avon Blood Drive Results

The LifeServe Blood Center blood drive held in Avon on Thursday, May 24th, had a fantastic turn-out! 20 donors registered and 21 units of life saving blood was donated. Thank you to everyone that came out to help boost the LOCAL blood supply!
