FOUR RAIDERS PARTICIPATE IN HARRISBURG

4 Raiders participated in Harrisburg on Saturday, October 8 for a competitive Oral Interp meet, the Harrisburg Tiger Tournament. Jackson Rolston, Presley Slaba, Trenton Rolston, and Macee Stimpson all came home with ribbons after an early morning start.

President Rachel Woods greeted everyone on Wednesday, October 11th by ringing our Rotary Bell and then asking Pastor Bill Heermann for a prayer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Each year, for our Dig Pink match, an individual is chosen to be honored and have their name put on the traveling trophy. This year Wagner Volleyball chose to honor Mary Merkwan who has fought the battle of breast cancer three times in her lifetime.

VETERANS DAY PROGRAM PLANNED FOR NOVEMBER 9TH

Plans are underway for this year's Veterans Day Program which will be held Wednesday, November 9 at 2:45 p.m., at the Avon School Gym with a special oneact play presentation by American Legion Auxiliary.

SDDOT Reminder: Election signs not allowed in state right-of-Way

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) reminds the public that political campaign and ballot-issue signs cannot be placed on state highway rights-of-way. “Election signs are showing up along the state’s roadways,” says Craig Smith, Director of Operations.
