The Wagner Fire Department was among seven fire departments that traveled to Avon to battle the fire that consumed Power's Furniture and Appliance Tuesday evening, March 26th. Kenny Powers spent 52 years working in the store and for son Stacey Powers, "It was our life", he commented.

Greer Post #11 American Legion held its monthly meeting on March 21st, 2019 at the Post Home. Commander Robert Kucera called the members to attention. Chaplain Donald Kotab gave the invocation, which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.

There was a full house Wednesday Noon, March 27th for the weekly Wagner Rotary Club members. Guests introduced were Golby Uhiler from parts unknown by Ken Cotton, and Whitney Podzimek, presently the Administrator of Wagner Good Samaritan Home by Gerrit Juffer.

Two Destination Imagination teams from Wagner Community School will compete at the State Competition in Pierre on March 30. The 5th, 6th and 7th grade Destination Imagination teams traveled to Regional Competition at Tri-Valley School on March 2.
