President Bill Frei called the Wagner Rotary Club to order on Wednesday, July 17th, for our quarterly steak meeting which was courtesy of the Bill and Patty Frei team. Wagner Super Foods served delicious barbecued steaks and all the trimmings.

10 Years Ago - 2009 Marsha Johnson, a Registered Nurse at Avera St. Benedict Rural Health Clinic in Lake Andes, passed her test to become certified as a limited x-ray machine operator. Katie Brock was latest winner of $210 from the Lake Andes Amateur Baseball fund raiser.

WAGNER SPEEDWAY JULY 12TH RACING RESULTS

It was a hot day and evening, but the racing action was just as hot in all classes at the Wagner Speedway. In the Hobby Stock’s it was car 32 Daryl Bartunek of Armour getting the win followed by Clifford Houser 1x from Kimball in 2nd Place.

Library news

The library is happy to announce that we are hosting a build a bear workshop where children participants will build an “Alien” stuffed toy. The event will be Thursday, July 25th beginning at 6:00 with a free hot dog supper for all children ages 0-18. Adults can buy a meal for $4.00.
