The estate of Wayne E. and Jannien (Nugent) have donated $10,000 to the Wagner Public Library in memory of Ann (Broz) Nugent, mother of Jannien Nugent. Ann was born in Moville, IA in 1907 to John and Emma Broz. They moved to Wagner around 1910 where Ann later graduated from Wagner High School.

Wagner Rotary was brought to attention Wednesday June 23rd with the ringing of the Rotary Bell and Pastor/Rotarian Bill Heermann praying that everyone may endure the hot weather.

The Wagner Area Health & Wellness Consortium held its Best Dam VIRTUAL 5K during the week of June 6-12. Racers had the option of using the Ft. Randall Dam route or choosing a 5K route of their own and completing it any time during that week. The participants then submitted their time online.

Karen Rabe of Plainville, Illinois and her family, Andy, Lisa, Marissa, Christian, Elizabeth, Mason and Quinn Rabe of Payson, Illinois were weekend visitors until Monday in the home of their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Iren Eben.
