Andes Central students celebrated Teen Read Week with 12 YARP books for grades 6-8 and 12 books for grades 9-12.
The 7th grade AC/DC volleyball team took 1st place in a volleyball tournament held in Avon.
You’re asleep when suddenly your calf tightens into a painful knot. You swing your legs over the side of the bed and stand up, trying to stretch the muscle and waiting for the cramp to release. It passes after a minute or two, but the soreness often lingers.
Members of the Wagner High School Class of 1958 gathered for a class reunion at the Choteau Creek Brewery. The day was spent enjoying the delicious items on the charcuterie board and an absolutely fabulous buffet meal prepared by Lisa and Paul Schoenfelder.
The Wagner Rotary Club met on Wednesday with another four students from the Wagner Community School present. A warm welcome was given to the four students followed by everyone reciting the Rotary Prayer for our lunch provided by Valley Pump.

Remodeling of the new Dialysis Center began in Wagner. The class of 1950 gathered for a reunion, in attendance was J.B. Weber, Marlyn Goldhammer, Dick Barta, Tom Stone, Bob Andersh, Viola Andersh, Betty Denker and Ilah Schmieding.
The Sweet Clover 4-H club met on October 12, 2025 at 5pm. The Ferwerda family hosted the meal. Our 4-H leader, Angie called the meeting to order. Flag Pledges were led by Lucy & Josie Schloss. Roll call topic was "What are you most excited for this year?" & 11 members were present.
(HOWARD, SD) – Horizon is pleased to announce Ashton Mednansky, MSW, LCSW, QMHP, has joined the staff of Horizon’s Behavioral Health team and will see patients remotely throughout the organization’s 28,000-mile footprint.
The fifth graders at Andes Central have been hard at work learning new skills and showing great progress this fall. In math, students explored several ways to solve two-digit by two-digit and two-digit by larger-digit multiplication problems.
Let’s call her Sarah, although that wasn’t her name. I’d had the privilege of delivering her, and the fun of watching her grow into a precocious toddler, with an impish smile and a joyous laugh. Then I had the responsibility of explaining her autopsy report to her devastated parents.
