Jackie became a JAKES member through a youth turkey hunt sponsored in part by the Ft Randall Chapter of the NWTF. The state hunt drawing allows each chapter to enter 1 JAKES member for every 25 JAKES members they sign up. JAKES stands for Juniors Acquiring Knowledge, Ethics and Sportsmanship and is open to youth 17 and under.
