A working and planning meeting for the All School Reunion for the former Tabor High School will be held on Sunday, March 16, at the Tabor Community Center at 1:30 p.m. Any Tabor High School alumni wishing to attend the meeting to stuff envelopes and mail information about the reunion is encouraged to attend and help. The Tabor High School Reunion will be held in Beseda Hall on Sunday, August 31, 2025.

Read moreDennis Rucker is being honored as Lake Andes’ March Veteran of the Month. Not only is Rucker a Vietnam War Veteran, but he also served during Operation Desert Storm. Rucker enlisted in the Army on January 30, 1969 when he was 18 years old. Rucker was shipped to Fort Johnson, formerly known as (fka) Fort Polk, in Louisiana for basic training. As there were too many soldiers sent to that base, soldiers were dispersed to three different bases. Rucker was sent to Fort Jackson, in South Carolina. After completing basic training, he was then sent to Fort Moore, fka Fort Benning, in Georgia to complete his infantry training. Once infantry training was finished, Rucker volunteered for Airborne School, to become a paratrooper. When asked how many jumps he made during his time in the Army, Rucker said “one, the other 13 they had to push me out of the plane”.

Read moreWagner’s own #16, Ravyn Medricky and her club volleyball team recently qualified to play in the USA Volleyball (USAV) National Tournament that will be held in Dallas, Texas on June 30th through July 3rd. Ravyn plays middle blocker for the Kairos 16 Alpha club out of Sioux Falls. The team has a current winloss record of 19-8.
