The Lady Red Raiders traveled to Sioux Falls on Saturday, September 27th to compete in the Sanford Pentagon Tournament. The Lady Raiders went 2-2 in the tournament and finished 5th in the white division. They first faced Parker/Marion and fell short with scores of 17-25, 25-19, and 18-25. Next they defeated Hitchcock/Tulare with scores of 25-16, 11-25, and 25-23. In the first round of bracket play they lost to Winner 22-25 and 13-25. Then in the last match of the day they defeated Mount Vernon/Plankinton 25-18, 25-27, and 25-17.

Wagner hosted the Bon Homme Cavaliers on Tuesday, September 23rd. The Red Raiders came out ready to play and walked away with a clean sweep of scores with 25-19, 25-6, and 25-16.

Patricia Ann Buus, 79, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025 at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton. She was born on May 9, 1946, and grew up on the family farm in Wagner, surrounded by her eight siblings.
