American Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on January 15, 2026 with 24 members and 5 SAL members in attendance. Commander Rados thanked the SAL members for the delicious dinner. John Crisman was the winner for the queen drawing but drew the queen of diamonds instead. We have a new member tonight as Dennis Soulek, a PUFL member, is moving his membership from the Geddes Post to the Wagner Post. Chaplain Don Kotab gave the invocation which was followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. The Preamble to the Constitution of the American Legion was recited by all members. Commander Rados then called the meeting to order. We had a moment of silence for Legion member Richard Dvorak for his recent passing.

There will likely be a number of bills on property taxes, which could impact all levels of local government. A strong and growing economy is what is needed to provide tax relief and keep taxes low.
