On Wednesday, March 19th, the Wagner Rotary Club met at Two Spurs for our annual Scholar Recognition meeting. President Jordan Weber brought the bell and gave it a hearty ring to bring the meeting to order. He led the group in prayer, and we then feasted on a delicious buffet of roast beef and all the trimmings. Thank you to Two Spurs for the wonderful lunch!

Leah Insko of Leah Insko Photography was recently named to SeniorInspire magazine’s Top 100 Photographers to Follow in 2025. This was Leah’s first time entering a contest like this and entering on a whim the day of the deadline definitely paid off. To Leah’s shock, disbelief and complete honor she was selected alongside many other extremely talented photographers for this distinction.

Jim “The Barber” Dresden has been a barber for well over 40 years, but has been a part of the Wagner Community barbering for the past 40 years. What he began in 1985 atTheWagnerBarberShopon Wagner’s Main Street came to end with the final haircut of Eugene Soukup at the barbershop on February 28th.

We had two guests, Bill Peters who is running for State Commander and is the current SD State Legion Membership chairman. Also in attendance was Steve Muller, District 8 Commander. We also had Chance Blaha here tonight and welcomed him asanewLegionmember. CommanderClayton Rados thanked the Auxiliary for preparing the delicious meal and cake celebrating the 106th birthday of the American Legion.
