Cody Patrick Sassaman, the son of Casey Sassaman, was born on January 1st 2007. Cody enjoys many hobbies, including hunting waterfowl, deer hunting, and fishing. His favorite subject in school is English because it isn’t too difficult. One quote Cody lives by is, “consequences are temporary, but memories are forever.” Cody’s biggest role model is Jarod Myer because he taught himeverythingheknowsabouthunting.Hisbiggest accomplishment during his time at AHS is going to state duals three years in a row. After high school Cody plans to attend Mitchell Technical College, where he will study Wind Turbine Technology.Cody’sfavoritememoriesfromhis time at AHS are all the things that happen during welding and shop. When Cody leaves AHS, he will miss a lot of things, but he will miss all the people the most.

Read moreThe Wagner Boys Basketball team finished their season in the first week of March. The team finished with an 1111 record. Parker Petry led the team in many categories including, points scored, field goal percentage and field goals made. Preston McFayden led the team in 3 pointers made, Brady Cournoyer led the team in rebounds and blocked shots. Brady Cournoyer finished his career as the all-time blocked shots leader, he had 78 of them. Brady also broke the record for blocked shots in a season with 68 and he now has the record for blocks in a single game with 10. Carlos Galindo set a new school record with 97 assists in a single season.
