WAGNER C SQUAD BATTLES BACK FOR 27–25 OT VICTORY

The Wagner C team brought home an exciting 27–25 overtime victory. After a tightly contested game, the Raiders scored three points during the two-minute extra period to secure the win. Ryan Gullickson led Wagner with seven points.

RAIDERS BATTLE SESD FOE IN HARD-FOUGHT CONTEST

The Wagner varsity Red Raiders competed hard against Chamberlain in a matchup of SESD opponents. Wagner controlled much of the game, leading through the first three quarters. However, a hot-shooting fourth quarter by the Cubs turned the tide, and Chamberlain pulled away for a 66–58 win.

WAGNER JV EDGES PLATTE-GEDDES 35-33 IN HOME FINALE

The Wagner C team finished their season with a 45-23 win over the Platte-Geddes Black Panthers. Ron Knudsen scored 15 points, Conner Gabel scored 9, Alex Reiter scored 6, Ryan Gullickson scored 5 points, Kameron Chrans scored 4, Bailer Lhotak, Russell Standing Cloud and Jacob Kotab all scored 2.

WAGNER JV EDGES PLATTE-GEDDES 35-33 IN HOME FINALE

The Wagner boys JV team won their home finale Friday night against Platte-Geddes. Both teams shot the ball well early, with Wagner leading 18-15 after the first period. Points were much more difficult to come by in the second quarter, each team scoring four which made the score 22-19 at half time.

WOODS LEADS JV EFFORT IN TIGHT ROAD LOSS

The Wagner JV squad faced an uphill battle early against Chamberlain. The Raiders trailed 13–8 after the first quarter and were down 24–16 at halftime.

WAGNER RALLIES PAST PLATTEGEDDES ON SENIOR NIGHT

Friday night was senior night for the Wagner boys basketball team. Ky Arpan is the lone senior player for the team and he did not disappoint the crowd. The boys started offff trailing in the fifirst half, the score was 31-40 in favor of Platte-Geddes at half time.

VARSITY LADY RAIDERS DOMINATE SECOND HALF IN ROAD VICTORY

The Wagner Lady Raiders overcame a slow first quarter to defeat Gregory 51-16 in their final regular season road game. Wagner led just 12-5 after the opening quarter as Gregory slowed the tempo and played physical defense.
