ACDC 22 30 41 53 WS 8 19 29 39 Andes Central/ Dakota Christian defeated Wessington Springs 53-39 Tuesday, January 23. Josie Brouwer led the scoreboard with 13 points, Mahpiya Irving added 11 and Halle Olson had 10. Gabriella Olson and Halle Olson pulled down 4 rebounds.

Andes Central/ Dakota Christian traveled to Bon Homme where they fell to the Cavaliers. Halle Olson led the team with 14 points and 7 rebounds, Mahpiya Irving added 12 points, Josie Brouwer had 10 points, 5 assists and 4 steals; Leah Brown pulled down 4 rebounds.

The Wagner boys improved to 7-4 with a win over Scotland. The Raiders led 11-7 after the first period and 26-24 at half time. Wagner pulled ahead in the second half, they led by as many as 19 in the fourth period before Scotland made a run cutting the lead to 5.

The Raiders got their 6th win of the season Tuesday night in Wagner against MVP. The boys jumped out to a 20-11 lead after the first period and led 3026 at half time. The Titans made things interesting in the second half but Wagner led the majority of the way and won the game 59-52.

The Lady Raiders ran into a buzz saw last Tuesday night in girls basketball action. The Titans would jump out to any early 6-2 lead and extend the lead to 38-19 at the half. Wagner would cut it back down to 10 early in the 4th but wouldn’t be able to overcome the deficit and fall 45-59.

The Lady Raiders hosted the Scotland Highlanders last Thursday night in girls basketball action. Wagner would jump out to an early 21-3 lead after the first quarter and take a 40-9 lead into halftime. The Raiders would allow only 2 points the second half and win the game 62-11.

The Lady Raiders traveled to Yankton and played the Florence Henry Falcons this last Saturday at Ladie Cimpl Arena at Mt. Marty.

Wagner Bon Homme gymnasts competed in their first ever class AA invite. The girls were fun to watch. Surrounded by AA gymnasts, they stepped on to each event with confidence. Bars: Alexys Rueb scored an 8.175 and placed 7th, Jasmine Gilbert scored a 7.60, Addison Cuka scored a 5.

Wagner Bon Homme gymnasts competed in one of their final regular season meets Thursday in Vermillion. The girls are always fun to watch. This fun bunch of girls always finds a way to take less than ideal situations and shine.
