WAGNER CLOSES OUT REGULAR SEASON ON THE ROAD IN PLATTE

The Lady Raiders traveled to Platte to take on the Platte-Geddes Black Panther last Friday night in girls basketball action. Wagner would storm out of the gate to take a commanding 25-5 lead after the first and then 47-9 lead into half.

PIRATES HEAD TO GREAT PLAINS CONFERENCE FEBRUARY 18

Avon Pirates faced off against Ethan February 10 where they took the loss 36-77. Landon Thury led the score boards with 13 points, Noah Watchorn had 9 points and 2 rebounds, Trace Pelton had 7 points and 8 rebounds.

BUSY WEEK ON THE COURT FOR THE LADY PIRATES

Avon Lady Pirates faced off against Kimball/White Lake for an exciting evening of basketball. After going into overtime,theLadyPiratestook the big win 59-57. Leading the scoring attack was Courtney Sees with 23 points, 5 assists and 3 steals for the night.

LADY THUNDER BASKETBALL RESULTS

AC/DC 14 20 29 44 Centerville 13 19 31 42 Andes Central/Dakota Christian Lady Thunder came home champions of the Great Plains Classic Tournament after defeating Centerville 44-42 in the final game.

THUNDER FALLS TO FAM, 45-74 Andes Central/Dakota Christian Thunder fell to Freeman Academy/Marion on Thursday, February 9th 45-74. AJ Johnson led the team with 13 points; Hunter Loeffler scored 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists; Garth Maas pulled down 6 rebounds.

WAGNER RAIDERS VS KIMBALL-WHITE LAKE WILDCATS

The Wagner 7th grade boys’ basketball hosted the Kimball-White Lake Wildkats for a game at the Armory on Friday, February 10. They faced the Wildkats earlier in the season, but this time the Wildkats brought a combined 7/8 grade team that proved to be more a challenge.

WAGNER RAIDERS VS AC/DC THUNDER

On Monday, February 6, Wagner hosted the AC/DC Thunder for a pair of middle school basketball games at the Armory. In the 7th grade game, the Raiders got out to a fast start and built an 11 point lead after the first quarter.
