Channel catfish state record to be voided

South Dakota fisheries biologists are voiding the state’s oldest record fish, a channel catfish caught by Roy Groves in 1949. The record will be opened due to a seventy year old fish misidentification.

VFW POST 7319 RECOGNIZES NATIONAL CPR AND AED AWARENESS WEEK

June 1-7 was National CPR and AED Awareness week! On December 13, 2007, Congress unanimously passed a resolution to set aside June 1-7 each year to spotlight how lives can be saved if more Americans know CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and how to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator).

CIMPL AND STIMPSON REPRESENT WAGNER AT STATE GOLF TOURNAMENT

On June 3rd and 4th at the Lee Park Golf Course in Aberdeen, the Wagner girls golf team competed at the 2019 State 'A' girls golf tournament. The weather held up both days, and the low scoring was indicative of the talent there and the nice weather.

COMMERCIAL STATE BANK BEAUTIFIES MAIN STREET

With the recent rain and warm temperatures, it won't be long before the 35 baskets of flowers on Main Street will be overflowing with color. Commercial State Bank purchased the pots of flowers and installed them on the poles on Main Street.

RASDAK RIDERS PEDAL TO WAGNER

The 7th Annual RASDak (Ride Across South Dakota) adventure began June 1 in Custer where cyclists enjoyed visiting nearby attractions including Crazy Horse Memorial, Jewel Cave National Monument and Custer State Park. From Custer, they headed to Hot Springs on June 2.
