COMMUNITY EASTER CANTATA PERFORMANCES SCHEDULED

The Bon Homme Community Easter Cantata is making final preparations for this years performances. “Closer to the Cross” by Dave Clark and Nick Robertson, Arranged and Orchestrated by Nick Robertson is the title for this years Easter Cantata. The choir once again is directed by Autumn Schultz.

Our local council #2676 had our February meeting on Tuesday the 4th. Cooks for the meeting were Clayton Rados and Mike Cihak. They provided a great meal for the council.

ROTARY GIVES TO HELPING HANDS BACKPACK PROGRAM

The Wagner Rotary Club members joined efforts recently to raise money for the Helping Hands Backpack Program. At the Wagner Rotary Club’s Annual Valentine’s Supper, a silent auction was held on a variety of baskets.

Wagner Community School is closed this week following Governor Noem’s directive concerning the Coronavirus. With this closure the school is providing breakfast and lunch grab and go sack meals for children 18 years and younger.

On February 29th, the following Andes Central band students participated in the annual Honor Band held at SDSU: Keeva Weddell (Trumpet), Riley Boettcher (French Horn), and Bradley Dangel (Percussion).

The American Legion Post #10 of Lake Andes is holding a meeting on March 16th at 6:00 p.m., in the Lake Andes Community Center. District 8 Commander Gregory A. Geiman and State Membership Chairman Ed Stringer will be presenting information and answering questions.
