Wagner Fire Department held their annual Figure 8 Race on Sunday . Winners of the Fire Department Race Calcutta were: 1st - Delmont Fire Department (buyer Dwight Brenner), 2nd - Wagner Fire Department (buyer Gregg Link) and 3rd - Bonesteel Fire Department (buyer Dan Cimpl) .

Queen Alcista Dion's Choice was a 1954 Chevy Bel Air owned by Curtis Jensen of Beresford . Post 1990's was a 2006 Ford Mustang owned by Cody Spreckels of Wagner . Pre 1990's was this Monte Carlo owned by Lucas Cournoyer .

KIDS PARADE ENJOYED BY ALL

Many area residents came out to enjoy the Kids Parade Saturday morning. The emcees for the morning were Dean Weber and Craig Krsnack who always do such a wonderful job.

2020 HOMECOMING WEEK

Wagner High School is having homecoming the week of September 14th to 18th. The theme for Homecoming this year will be “The Good Ole Days.” The candidates for king and queen this year are: Abby Brunsing and Simon Freier, Michelle Soukup and Jaden Peters, and Faith Podzimek and Derek Drews.

BHSU SPRING 2020 DEAN’S LIST

SPEARFISH…Black Hills State University has released the Dean’s List for the spring 2020 semester. A total of 817 students maintained a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher while taking at least 12 credit hours. Students are listed by hometown or current place of residence.
