Wagner High School is having homecoming the week of September 14th to 18th. The theme for Homecoming this year will be “The Good Ole Days.” The candidates for king and queen this year are: Abby Brunsing and Simon Freier, Michelle Soukup and Jaden Peters, and Faith Podzimek and Derek Drews. Coronation will be held following the volleyball game Tuesday night in the Auxiliary Gym.

The Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be Kallen Kafka. The public is welcome to attend.

On Monday, the Cross-Country team will have their home meet at the Pickstown golf course starting at 4:15 p.m. The dress up day on Monday will be Sports Jersey Day.

Tuesday’s dress up will be Dynamic Duo/Twin Day with a pep rally at 2:30 p.m., that will be streamed online. Wagner volleyball will play Avon with JV starting at 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday’s dress up day is Western.

Thursday’s dress up day is Homecoming T-shirt Day.

Friday is a home game for the football team as Wagner hosts Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Sanborn Central. The dress up for Friday night’s game is Red and White Spirit.

To finish off homecoming week, Wagner cheer will compete in Brookings on Saturday.
