Tiffany Pelton, daughter of Barb and Jim Pelton, was born on December 14, 2003. Pelton has one older brother, Derek, and two younger brothers, Trace and Jamie. In her spare time she likes to hang out with friends, go for walks, go to the river, babysit, and shop.

The Giving Tree is up at the library. It is decorated with donations of socks, scarves and hats. There are also diapers or a small amount of canned food that can be given away. The tree will remain up during the holidays. This is the last article for 2021.

North Point Recreation Area held their North Pole at North Point event Friday and Saturday. Saturday Santa and Mrs. Claus paid a visit. They also had hayrides and many activities at each cabin including crafts, hot cider, letters to Santa and soldiers.

Greer Unit #11, American Legion Auxiliary met on December 16, 2021 at the Post home with nine members and one guest present. The meeting was called to order by President Juanita Stone. The Pledge of Allegiance and American Legion Auxiliary Preamble were recited in unison.

Members of VFW Post 7319 are sponsoring a mural to honor area veterans. We feel that those who served our country in time of war and peace should be recognized with a lasting tribute to their contributions to our great nation.

American Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on December 16, 2021 at the Post Home with 31 members in attendance. Commander Rados thanked the cooks for the delicious prime rib dinner which was enjoyed by all.
