SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON SENIOR

Tiffany Pelton, daughter of Barb and Jim Pelton, was born on December 14, 2003. Pelton has one older brother, Derek, and two younger brothers, Trace and Jamie. In her spare time she likes to hang out with friends, go for walks, go to the river, babysit, and shop.

In school, Pelton’s favorite subject is Creative English because “Mrs. Storley is such a loving and welcoming teacher. Her classroom brings lots of joy, and there is never a dull moment.” The most challenging task as a senior for Pelton is to take it one day at a time. She is always looking forward to events but needs to tell herself to sit back sometimes because eventually they will come. Pelton really enjoys all of her high school activities, but especially volleyball and drama club. One memory she will never forget about being a Pirate is when the Lady Pirates volleyball team made it to the SoDak 16 game as a 15 seed playing Chester (number 2 seed) and almost winning in five sets.

An inspirational quote Pelton lives by is, “Ability is what you’re capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” -Lou Holtz
