Yankton – May 23, 2022 – A First Dakota Scholarship is being awarded to Paige Anderson from Wagner High School for $1000. Anderson plans to attend SDSU this fall.

The Wagner Rotary Club met on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 for its regular weekly meeting. President Bryan Slaba welcomed everyone. Rotarian Pastor Bill Heermann offered up thanks. Rotarian Kidd then led us in song.

Congratulations Katie Gretschmann! Best and Brightest of 2022 Recognized for Academic Excellence The best and brightest from the Class of 2022 were recognized for their academic achievements during their high school career.

The staff at Avon School congratulated these wonderful teachers on their future endeavors as they move onto new ventures! Melissa Storley, Tina Cameron and Tamara Carns, your presence will be missed by students and staff at Avon School. Thank you for everything you've done over the years.

Larry and Sharon Kozel were weekend visitors in the home of their son, Steve, Beth and Megan Kozel of Spearfish. They attended the High School Graduation of their granddaughter, Megan on Saturday afternoon and an Open House celebration for her on Friday night.

“He will swallow up death forever; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from all faces, and the reproach of His people He will take away from all the earth, for the Lord has spoken” (Isaiah 25:8).

On Memorial Day, we pay tribute to those who fought and made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their courage and service will never be forgotten, and we owe them and their loved ones a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid. Let us always remember that freedom is not free.
