WHO THIS PROVERB SPEAKS OF

By
Dr. James Schirtzinger,

PROVERBS 8: 22-31

22) " The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

23) I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.

24) When there were no depths, I was brought forth: when there were no fountains abounding with water.

25) Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

26) While as yet He had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.

27) When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

28) When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

29) When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:

30) Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

31) rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and his delights were with the sons of men."(KJV)

When we read these verses we can see that these verses were referring to JESUS, who was referring to GOD THE FATHER.

The Gospel of JOHN in the first five verses is also speaking of JESUS who was there with GOD THE FATHER when he spoke the creation into existence God's speaking was the WORD, and the WORD was JESUS.

JOHN 1:1-5 "In the beginning was the word . and the word was God. 2) The same was in the beginning with God. (JESUS was in the beginning with GOG THE FATHER) 3) All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. 4) In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5) And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.") KJV)

This proverb was speaking of JESUS and His being with GOD THE FATHER in the beginning before GOD THE FATHER had created anything, which he created out of nothing merely by speaking--( This was the Word--and the WORD was God--JESUS) and nothingness became something out of nothing--totally created by GOD.

JESUS came to the earth to save sinners, many today do not realize that that is why He came and died. To open up God's heavenly doors to enter ---eternity.

This is another truth from God's Word. Now that you have read them, Do you believe them?

Just Thought I'd ask
