NATIONAL SHOOTING SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIPS

988 SUICIDE AND CRISIS LIFELINE
On July 16th, 2022, 988 will become the national three-digit phone number for all mental health, substance use, and suicide crises.
PICKSTOWN 4th of July Parade

JULY 3 RIBFEST
Sunday July 3rd Charles Mix County Lake Restoration Organization held their July 3 Ribfest. They had six competitors entered into the Ribfest. Many community members brought their families out to enjoy the delicious ribs and entertainment.
LUMEN CHRISTI--LIGHT OF CHRIST
Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish Dante and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Wagner held their joint summer religious education program Lumen Christi--Light of Christ June 24th - 28th, 2022 for grade school students.

We pray for all indigenous children who were in residential and boarding schools in Canada and the United States.
LOCAL CHURCH HAS PRAYER ADOPTED
Last week the 150th Niobrara Convocation of the Episcopal Diocese of South Dakota adopted a remembrance prayer for the boarding and residential school children.
