The Bon Homme Community Choir will be meeting soon to start preparing for the 2023 Easter Cantata. This is will the 84th year of gathering in the Lords name to tell the Easter Story through narration and song. The Cantata was first organized in 1939 by the Avon School Principal.

On January 10 the Freshmen class of 2026 participated in the annual Avera CPR training, which is a requirement in order to graduate from Avon High School. CPR is an essential skill to learn before you enter the real world.

Airen James Cline was born on October 16, 2004. His parents are Michael Cline and Nancy Cline. His siblings include: Airis, Michael, his cousin Josh that is a brother to him, Ava, Airel, Arianna, and Sarah.

Dalton Gramkow, son of Tina and Lenny Gramkow, was born on October 9, 2004. He has one older brother Kyle. Dalton says his favorite subject in school is P.E. with Mr. Liebel because he pushes him to do his best and focus on getting stronger every day.

Madilyn Mudder was born on September 21, 2004 to Larry and Brenda Mudder. She has three older sisters, Diandra, Karlin, and Marissa and a younger brother Landon. Madi’s favorite subject in school is math with both Mr. Kuhlman and Mrs. Gretschman because she enjoys their teaching methods.

Brevin DeJong of Platte, son of Jeremiah and Jennifer DeJong is officially a National Guardsman. Brevin graduated from Basic Training October 6th and from AIT's last Wednesday, January4th.
