AVON SWIM TEAM CHAMPS!

The Avon Swim Team competed in the James River Valley League Championships on July 13-14 in Platte. The team, which consisted of 58 swimmers ranging from ages 4-18, captured their third straight team champions trophy! Swimmers are holding up the "3" for 3 Peat

American Legion Greer Post #11 held its monthly meeting on July 20, 2023 with 26 members and two guests in attendance. John Crisman introduced his guest, Pastor Rydel Samuelson. Pastor Samuelson is the new pastor at the Methodist church here in Wagner and hails originally from Mandan, ND.

The Department of Social Services (DSS) and The Helpline Center are celebrating the oneyear anniversary of the start to South Dakota’s 988. 988 is a national three-digit phone number that has been created as a resource for all mental health-related distress, substance use, and suicide crises.
