Pastor/Founder of the Grace Baptist Church, Lake Andes since 1988

PROVERBS 8: 6-11 6) ' Hear: for I will speak of excellent things: and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

7) For my mouth shall speak truth: and wickedness is an abomination to my lips 8) All the words of my mouth are in righteousness: there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

9) They are plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

10) Receive my instruction, and not silver: and knowledge rather than choice gold.

11) For wisdom is better than rubies: and all the things that may be desired are not to be compered to it.'(KJV) These Words in the PROVERB are the same as the Lord Himself is telling us to listen to them. His Words---all of them are truth.

Following His Words--the Bible-- will bring first--salvation-- and secondly Joy and Peace to us.

No matter what the Lord has provided for you--one of the most important that He gives us is His Words.

His Words will lead us into righteousness and guide us from iniquity.(Sin) His Words guide us in every aspect of our life. They tell of what pleases the Lord and also of those things that the Lord hates.

How can a person know all these things in order to please Him?

A person can read them for themselves, They can hear them read for them and explained to them through preaching. But for sure that they will not know them if they do not read them of sin under good Bible Preaching.

Knowing God's will for a persons life will be found in God's Word, and knowing God's will is more valuable than all the possessions a person may have.

All possessions will fade away with time but the Scriptures say that heaven and earth shall pass away-but God's Word shall not pass away.

A person missing out on God's Word will end up missing out on salvation and eternal life.

God's Word tells us to love, honor and serve Him, and God's Word the true word will tell him how.

Are you reading God's instruction from His Word the Bible?
