Avon Public Library Summer Reading Program will hold a Movie Night on Friday, August 4th at 7 p.m., at Tolsma’s Cove and their adjoining park.
There will be free popcorn, hotdogs, and chips. Beverages and other food can be purchased. In keeping with the SRP farm theme, movie is Babe.

Feeding South Dakota food distribution will be held Friday, July 28 at the Scotland Community Church at 8:45 a.m.; the Tyndall Fire Hall at 10:30 a.m. and at the Avon Fire Hall at 12 noon.
PLEASE NOTE: Proxy pickup (picking up food for someone unable to attend) is allowed with a completed form.
I appreciate the people in the Avon area who signed a letter of support for a turn lane on the north side of Avon. This letter was taken to the SD Transportation meeting in Sioux Falls. I was informed the request had been approved.
