I appreciate the people in the Avon area who signed a letter of support for a turn lane on the north side of Avon. This letter was taken to the SD Transportation meeting in Sioux Falls. I was informed the request had been approved. This week a SD survey employee has started the process of getting information so blueprints can be drawn up. The lights system at the intersection of Highway 37 and 46 has been removed and will now be a 4-way stop. Five intersections from east of Avon to Tabor will not be charged as first planned. At the present time, only two by Tyndall are under consideration, change date 2025. Respectfully, Ed Van Gerpen, Avon SD
