FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH TO CELEBRATE 125 YEARS

The First Lutheran Church of Lake Andes will celebrate its 125th anniversary on October 22nd of this year. They will hold a celebration to commemorate this monumental occasion on Friday, November 1st, 2024 with a 10 a.m. service at the church which is located at 205 N. 4th Avenue.

WORK BEGINS AT WAGNER GOOD SAMARITAN SOCIETY

' We’re excited to share that we will soon begin reconstruction of our Wagner skilled nursing center. The renovated building will feature a new kitchen and dining area, upgraded flooring, lighting, and larger bathrooms in the residents’ suites.

KAUFMAN NAMED 2024 HOMETOWN HERO

The Modern Woodmen of America Chapter #17404 has named Connie Kaufman as its 2024 Hometown Hero. Connie grew up in Armour and graduated from Armour High School. What brought Connie to Wagner was becoming employed by the Wagner Community Memorial Hospital-Avera.

Rotary News

The Wagner Rotary Building had a full house on Wednesday, September 11th. Every year the Rotary entertains Seniors from Wagner Community School for a noon meal. This year we had six seniors start out the rotation.
