Am. Leg. Auxiliary to Greer Post #11

Greer Unit #11, American Legion Auxiliary met on November 19, 2020 at the Post Home with seven members present. The meeting was called to order by President Juanita Stone. Chaplain Margie Stone opened with prayer.

Library news

The library has great news to share with our patrons. The library has been granted two CARES grants. One of the grants is from the South Dakota State Library to purchase an online catalog for the library. You may ask how will this help me as a patron of the library?

LifeServe Blood Center is the SOLE supplier of blood and blood products to over 120 hospitals in South Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska.

I was very young when my grandfather suffered his first stroke and began his battle with vascular dementia. I grew up understanding that he was not like the other adults in my life. He would take me on long walks around the neighborhood, but it was never entirely clear who was supervising who.

Library news

The city library will be open November 11th. We will honor our veterans by having books honoring our veterans on display for check out during the days prior to and after the 11th. Many are children’s books, but we do also have adult books for check out.

AC-DC THUNDER SUFFERS LOSS TO MENNO 1-3

The Andes Central/Dakota Christian Thunder faced off at the net against Menno and suffered a tough loss 1-3. MacKenzie Muckey had 11 kills, 12 assists, 15 digs and 1 ace serve. Lexie VanderPol had 7 kills, 5 blocks, 5 digs and 3 ace serves.

President Bryan Slaba welcomed everyone to the October 28th meeting of the Wagner Rotary Club. It was a special meeting for all members as our District 5610 Governor was visiting us.
