Greer Unit #11, American Legion Auxiliary met on November 19, 2020 at the Post Home with seven members present. The meeting was called to order by President Juanita Stone. Chaplain Margie Stone opened with prayer. The Pledge of Allegiance and American Legion Auxiliary Preamble were recited in unison.

Minutes of the previous meeting were approved as read. The treasures report was given and approved. Two donations were given. Bills were presented, and a motion was made to pay both bills by Jeanette Fuchs, motion carried. Correspondence was read from District President Ruth Williams. Membership chairman Barb Kucera reported that we have 69 paid members. Goal is 78. Community service Chairman Margie Stone reported appropriate cards had been sent.

Unfinished business: Candy for education week was delivered to the school and will be distributed. Discussion was held on changing the meeting time to 7:00 during the winter months. All agreed to change it.

Cake for our Posts birthday was brought by Clayton Rados. Thank you!

New business: membership certificates to be given to members were passed out. Linda Youngbluth is giving out and mailing Thanksgiving and Christmas cards. Also, Food Pantry donations, either money or food products are to be brought by next meeting.

The basket was won by Jeanette Fuchs and donated back.

As there was no further business to come before the meeting, Chaplain Margie Stone read the prayer for peace and President Juanita Stone adjourned the meeting at 8:45.
